Website Co-ordinator
First a bit about me I am married to Nigel we have two sons aged 19 and 17 and live in Addlestone,
I work for the local authority as an IT support officer. I like reading, messing about with computers including a bit
of web design and socialising.
I became involved with The Neuroblastoma Society about September time 2003, when I volunteered
to write some letters to get some prizes for The Neuroblastoma Society's Golf Day in the October. At the time things
were difficult for Georgie's family, as George was very poorly they were dedicating all their time and energies into
his treatment, so writing a few letters seemed the least I could do.
The golf day was a great success and as a result I became closer to the family, and am full of admiration for them all.
After Georgie's death in January 2004 I felt helpless.
I was really honoured when Georgie's Fund was formed in February and I was asked to be a trustee, I am extremley proud to be involved and am
determined to do all that I can for the charity.
My first project was this website which has been up since March 2004. I have thoroughly enjoyed building it and hope that
it will go from strength to strength along with Georgie's Fund.
If you feel you could help in anyway, please contact us we need all the help and expertise we can get!
