Georgie's Fund was set up in February 2004 to raise funds to research into new treatments and a cure for Neuroblastoma. To date we have given over £45,000 to The Neurobalstoma Society to fund research. The Neuroblastoma Society is intended to be the main beneficiary of Georgie's Fund fundraising. The NSOC have been established for over 20 years and
are the main funders of research into Neuroblastoma in the UK. They have an established Scientific Advisory Board set up to vet all research applications that are submitted.

Dr. Glenn Flux, Royal Marsden NHS Trust and Institute of Cancer Research - £146,545 - 3 year study - Treatment planning for I-131 mIBG radionuclide therapy of neuroblastoma based on patient-specific dosimetry. For more information click HERE.
Dr. Chris Redfern, Newcastle Upon Tyne University - £206,737 - 3 year study - Preclinical studies of novel agents alone and in combination with chemotherapeutic drugs for neuroblastoma.
