Mission Statement

Georgie's Fund was setup in February 2004 in memory of George Hayhoe who died on 21st January 2004 aged just 8 years old from Neuroblastoma a rare and aggressive childhood cancer.

Georgie's Fund's aim is to relieve sickness and distress by provision of financial assistance to charities established for the relief of children suffering from Neuroblastoma and to promote research into the causes and treatment of Neuroblastoma and related diseases.

Primarily the research that we will support will be through donating funds raised to the Neuroblastoma Society (NSOC) who have a very successful 'Scientific Advisory Board' to vet the research projects submitted.

Georgie's Fund will also endeavour to support individual community projects relating to children with Neuroblastoma and other cancers.
