We are so proud to announce that Tania has won this years national
'Fairy Helpful Hands Award'.
Can I start by saying that although Tania knows and is very proud to have won this prestigious award she does not know that I am putting up this page
telling you all about her, and she will hate it. Tania is very modest and not one to blow her own trumpet so I am going to!
As you know Tania is our chairperson and started up GF after losing her youngest son George to neuroblastoma 4 years ago. As well as helping to raise over
£100,000 for the charity to date, Tania also helps out at weekends with helping disabled children to go horse riding. Tania also gives respite to the parents of severely disabled
children so their parents can have some time out. Until recently she was a special needs assistant at our local infant school and even started up a gardening
club for the children as gardening is her passion.
