Before their big day, when they sent out their wedding invitations and wedding gift list they decided that they would give their wedding guests the option to buy the happy couple a wedding present or give a donation to Georgie's Fund. The couple set up a Justgiving page and sent out the address with their wedding invitations. This was such a generous gesture by Donna and Greg and they raised a magnificent £4,337.31 (including giftaid and offline donations). With the money raised by their wedding we have purchased equipment for Frimley Park Hospital's teenage cancer unit, including a funky wheelchair, Xbox 360 and games, a Wii and games, thermos flasks, potable DVD players and DVD's. The rest of the money will go to fund much needed British research into neuroblastoma. Greg has been a very generous supporter of Georgie's Fund for the last four years, he has attended our golf days and even organised one himself with the proceeds going to Georgie's Fund. On that day he raised over £13,000! Greg also sponsored his sons football team and had Georgie's Fund logo printed on the teams football kit. We are very grateful for all the support from Greg and Donna and we wish them a very, very happy future together.
