Letter sent to local schools 30th April 2004: Dear Headmistress, I wonder if it is possible for you to forward some information to the children who released balloons for Georgies birthday. We had a total of 6 balloons returned. The first one was found on 26th March at Bignor Roman Villa by class 3B of Bevendean Junior School, Brighton who were on a trip. Two balloons went to a village called Felpham which is near Bognor. We had all been there 2 years ago for a holiday. One of these balloons was found in King Georges Field. The other travelled a little closer to the beach - 54.6 miles - and belonged to Georgie's dad! We have written to all the people who returned balloons to thank them and would like to thank all those that came along on Georgie's birthday.
