From that point I have been invited to be a trustee to Georgie's Fund which of course I accepted! My best friend, Nina, known since I was 12, is the Aunty of Georgie. Since having the pleasure of knowing Georgie all his life and through his illness I felt very humble about how little I did do to help those that aren't having a good time of it. I can safely say this has been a life changing experience for me seeing how wonderful all those that helped Georgie through his illness were and felt it was about time I contributed some of my time too. My responsibilities to the charity are on the event management and promotions side and hope with a little help from you and our friends we can contribute as much as possible to make people aware of this horrendous disease.
